COVID-19 epidemic prevention strategy-1 On March 26, 2020, the UK Society of Chinese Automotive Engineers (UKCSAE) invited Dr. Nie Nixuan from Wuchang Hospital to provide online science education and answer questions about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Dr. Nie combined his experience in responding to the outbreak in Wuhan and gave an easy-to-understand explanation of the 'Seventh Edition of Diagnosis and Treatment Plan' based on cases, and also compiled a note to share with everyone. The coronavirus should be taken seriously, but if you know yourself and your enemy, it is not something to panic about. way for spreading Respiratory droplet transmission Wear a mask, a medical disposable mask is enough. Use your elbows to cover your mouth and nose when sneezing to avoid close face-to-face contact with others. You can hold your breath for a few seconds when others sneeze. Wear goggles (optional) to avoid other people’s saliva splashing, just wear glasses. When eating out, sit alone at a single table, avoid gathering face to face with others, and avoid talking while eating. spread by close contact Avoid direct contact with public places such as door handles and elevator buttons, and use paper towels to isolate them. If you come into direct contact with your hands, avoid rubbing your eyes, mouth, nose, and ears. Wash your hands or disinfect your hands with sanitizer. Try not to touch anything outside directly with your hands. You can use disposable gloves or spray disinfectant before touching. Go home, change all your clothes, wash your hair and take a shower. Spray alcohol or disinfectant on the bottom of the shoes and place them in a ventilated place outside the door. Spray disinfectant on the clothes and hang them in a ventilated place, or use ultraviolet light to disinfect them for more than half an hour. All items brought home from outside should be sprayed with disinfectant before being brought into the home. Cook food, do not eat it raw. Aerosol transmission in closed environments Mainly, closed places such as hospital wards where the virus gathers in high concentrations are prone to infection if exposed for a long time. The chance of infection is low in confined spaces such as elevators, so just wear a mask and avoid direct contact. Please open windows for ventilation at home. The impact of feces, urine, etc. on the environment causes aerosol transmission Pay attention to the hygiene of public toilets. Try not to use it in contact with it Disinfectant: It is recommended to use 75% alcohol. The proportion of 84 disinfectant should be used strictly in accordance with the instructions. Do not put disinfectant in the car to avoid high temperature and fire. In short, be sure to wear a mask when going out, wash hands frequently, and avoid crowd gatherings . Symptoms of COVID-19 infection The main symptoms are fever, dry cough, and fatigue. A small number of patients are accompanied by symptoms such as occlusion, runny nose, sore throat, myalgia and diarrhea. Severe patients often develop dyspnea and/or hypoxemia one week later. Mild patients may only present with low-grade fever, mild fatigue, etc., without pneumonia. The symptoms of some cases of children and newborns are not typical, showing vomiting, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms, or just mental weakness and shortness of breath. prevention It is important to maintain a good and optimistic mood. Most patients have a good prognosis, and most of the severe cases are elderly with underlying diseases. Drink 2000mL of water every day, soak vitamin C effervescent tablets in water and drink once. Moderate exercise, breathing exercises or Baduanjin (refer to the video). Or exercise in other ways, based on body tolerance. Preventive Chinese medicine prescription: 10g of astragalus, 10g of Atractylodes, 10g of Fangfeng, 10g of dried tangerine peel, 10g of Pinellia ternata, 10g of Codonopsis pilosula, 10g of Poria, 10g of licorice, 10g of Scrophulariaceae, and 10g of Morus bark.
