A full lifecycle approach is needed to make a fair comparison between different pathways. 学术动态 2020/10 - 电动车主题研讨会 'Gathering high-end talents and discussing forward-looking topics.' has always been the original intention of the Chinese Automotive Engineers Association of the UK. Under the epidemic, we will still work with experts from the European automotive industry to hold online seminars to discuss the latest and most forward-looking hot topics in the automotive field. The Electric Vehicle Theme Seminar was held on May 2, 2020, which coincided with the six-month anniversary of the establishment of the association. We invited Zhang Xiaofeng, Commercial Director of Protean Electric Ltd., and Dr. Bao Ran, Senior Engineer of Ricardo UK, as guest speakers. UKCSAE for Medical Professionals in Wuhan, China There is currently a Coronavirus outbreak in China. Wuhan is at the centre of this crisis. There are many brave medical professionals volunteered to fight against this crisis however with very limited medical resources. We, UK Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers (UKCSAE), would like to support those brave medical professionals and therefore kick-off this fundraising activity. 全英华人汽车工程师协会在伦敦举行正式成立仪式 2019年11月2日全英华人汽车工程师协会(UK Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers)在伦敦成功举行了正式成立仪式。中国驻英大使馆科技处，世界汽车工程师学会联合会（FISITA），中英科技贸易协会，长安汽车，登腾科技，中国石化，中英文化协会均派代表出席。中国汽车工程学会（SAE-China），世界汽车工程师学会联合会（FISITA），中国人才研究会汽车人才专业委员会全球汽车精英组织，北美华人汽车工程师协会，北美华人发动机工程师协会，全德华人机电工程学会，在日华人汽车工程师协会，中国电动汽车百人会发来贺电。 此次大会有来自中新社、科技日报、欧洲时报、英中时报的记者，同时受到了众多媒体的关注，包括新浪、搜狐，等。 在100余位来宾的见证下，协会主席徐宏明教授，秘书长兼副主席唐华寅博士，副主席宋诗如，副主席林纯兴博士介绍了协会的主旨、章程及对未来的展望，为现在或曾在英国汽车行业的华人提供支持与平台，为现在或曾在英国汽车行业的华人提供交流机会和支持平台，与相关专业协会合作，促进中英汽车界交流合作与发展。 协会前身于2002年初创，现正式成立与注册。协会为非营利组织，目前已有280余名会员。协会计划将每年举办年度峰会，线上与线下活动，并将充分利用已拥有2万粉丝的技术微信公众号"欧洲汽车那些事儿"为会员提供信息与帮助。 长安汽车英国研发中心策略与先进工程技术部门总工程师乔军博士发表了题为“面对未来中国市场动力总成路线展望”的演讲，探讨了各种不同动力总成技术的对比以及战略方向。 福特汽车英国车型商务总监黄强博士发表了演讲“对未来汽车行业领袖的工程商业管理关键技能”，为青年一代在职业发展道路答疑解惑。 捷豹路虎自动驾驶高级经理周轶博士，FEV英国功能安全主管张永艺，发表了对于自动驾驶硬件系统和软件功能安全方面的演讲，讨论了自动驾驶系统硬件及软件的开发难点。 多位专家就汽车行业热点问题进行了专业的讨论，除进行技术演讲的嘉宾外，此次邀请到了英国皇家工程院院士赵华教授，长安汽车英国研发中心总经理胡铁刚博士，福特汽车英国宋海文博士，考文垂大学郭玥教授，及里卡多马赫博士。主要内容包括：英国汽车工业在世界舞台的角色，功能安全与自动驾驶，及动力总成电气化。 与会者纷纷表示意犹未尽，并期待协会在将来举办的各种线上与线下活动。
